Although we are not quite in June, I just couldn’t wait to tell you all about my favourite products I have been using.
Liz Earle – Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
Now I have always been a Clinique girl myself until I discovered this. I first purchased it wondering what all the hype was about and didn’t think it would do anything for my combination skin (with oily T zone). I was proved wrong, this completely balanced out my skin and it has never looked so good. What I love the most is the naturally active ingredients and how quick and simple it is to use. The only downside is remembering to wash your muslin cloth to keep it clean. I found it easier to purchase another cloth.
Apply to a dry face, massaging gently. Then wet he cloth in hand hot water, wring it out and then use the cloth to polish of the cleanser. Finish with a splash of cold water. For best results I used twice daily.
Trilogy – Very Gentle Eye Cream
I have had a terrible problem with dry skin under my eyes. I have tried every cream I could possibly think of to combat my problem. Then I had one last ditch at buying yet another cream and to my surprise it has started to work. I originally brought this cream from Marks and Spencer. This product is made in New Zealand a country I know pride themselves on natural ingredients.
Apply gently to eye area.
Estee Lauder – Double Wear Custom Coverage Correcting Duo
As well as dry skin around the eye area I also suffer from dark circles. I’m sure I should drink more water than I actually do to combat this issue, but I wanted something to hide my dark circles. So I invested in the Estee Lauder Correcting Duo. They do various shades for every skin colour and specific concerns; Yellow – brightens dullness, Lavender – neutralises yellowness and Green – reduced redness.
As you you may have gathered from the products name its a duo, at one end you have a brush applicator to sweep across large areas to lighten and wear all day. The other end is a sponge tip to cover targeted areas for full coverage.
Apply before concealer and/or foundation. Gently tap on with the applicator and lightly blend with fingertip or brush.
Clarins – Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil
Now I love good lipstick or oil, this is just amazing. I have the Honey oil which keeps my lips soft, hydrated for a few hours and is non sticky (added bonus). Clarins have a range of lip oils depending on what you fancy.
Use alone or on top of a lipstick to add shine.
